Integrating with Zahara

Integrating with Zahara

Zahara is a complete AP Automation solution and there are a number of ways to push data into Zahara and get data from Zahara.

Options include:

  • Exporting data to flat files like CSV / Excel / JSON
  • Using our Zapier integration to have data pushed into other applications on demand
  • Using our Microsoft PowerAutomate integration to access or send data into Zahara
  • Use our SmartSync program to download data to a local on-premise database
  • Use our reporting API to access daily updated datasets
  • Use our live API to get or push data into Zahara

Invoice Data

The main data point of Zahara is the supplier’s invoice. Approved invoices need pushing / posting into the finance system. With Zahara’s built-in invoice OCR and approval workflows, any organisation can route invoices through Zahara but will need to have the invoice data moved into their finance or ERP system to record the expenditure and affect the P&L.

The simplest way to do this is to create a custom export profile in Business Settings. You can choose the fields you need, choose the layout / order of the field and then save a profile. The user would then manually select invoices, click Export and the output file will be produced. Currently, this is CSV or Excel.

Another way to get access to this data is using Zapier. You can create a Zap that listens for approved invoices in Zahara and then makes that data available. This could be populating a OneDrive / Gsuite spreadsheet automatically or pushing the data into your chosen system (assuming they support Zapier).

We also have an api. We have various methods to getting invoice data together with data points like its approval history and links to purchase orders.

Writing an integration

If you are interested in writing an integration for your application then please get in touch. Just submit a contact form and one of the pre-sales team will schedule a call. We are keen to hear from specialists or VAR with these applications:

  1. SAP – Including SME variants
  2. Sage 300
  3. Netsuite

As a company, Zahara has created it’s own integration with finance systems like Xero, QuickBooks Online, MYOB and UK Sage 50 & 200 but we are now keen to work with resellers or specialists who can push or pull data from Zahara and then own that integration to resell onto other users.
