Xero connection problems

Xero connection errors drop outs. 

For most people with one Business unit and one Company in Xero, you can use your Xero username and password for the connection and never have to change this. 

If you have more than one Business Unit in Zahara aligned to separate companies in Xero, we insist you create separate usernames and passwords in Xero for each of these connections. There is no extra charge for Xero for creating additional users and once a username and password in Xero has been set, there is never a requirement to change it. This is simply a case of having distinct integration logins per Business Unit in Zahara. Obviously your Zahara username and password isn't affected by this.

Save the usernames and passwords somewhere safe incase you ever need to re-authenticate but this method will avoid any clashes between systems.

Monthly disconnects

Xero will disconnect each business unit every month - usually around the 30th day of connectivity. This is them renewing the Token they provide us. Please check for any failed invoice exports as a sign that you have a disconnection issue. Then head into Business > Settings > Integrations and reconnect.
